Sheamus def. Giovanni Vinci via Pinfall at 17:50

This was a fun and chaotic opener with both teams doing anything in their power to win the match. Sheamus and Gunther both respectfully beat the crap out of the minions of both groups. The crowd showed love for the Brawling Brutes which I love to see and they were loud as hell during this. Very good match to start the show! ***1/4

Liv Morgan(c) vs Ronda Rousey | Smackdown Women’s Championship Extreme Rules Match

Ronda Rousey def. Liv Morgan via TKO at 12:22

I could always give these two the benefit of the doubt due to the Extreme Rules stipulation and the whole this was always gonna be a brawl thing, but this match was absolutely atrocious in my opinion. Botch after botch, repeated sloppiness…this was a brutal mess and not in a good way. Could care less if Liv or Ronda won either because we all know Charlotte will come back and win it. DUD

Drew McIntyre vs Karrion Kross | Strap Match

Karrion Kross def. Drew McIntyre via Pinfall at 10:21

This match was obviously never going to be that great, and so I still think this is decent for what it was, however they could’ve done more here and obviously weren’t given enough time to get truly brutal. I do think this was still decent though and I’m interested in what Kross does next. **1/4

Bianca Belair(c) vs Bayley | Raw Women’s Championship Ladder Match

Bianca Belair def. Bayley at 16:41

This is fine obviously, but pretty underwhelming overall with some sloppiness throughout and less drama than expected. Also really could’ve done with Bayley winning here as it continues their momentum going into WarGames, but I guess not. Some fun moments make this not so bad. **1/2

Edge vs Finn Balor | ‘I Quit’ Match

Finn Balor makes Edge Quit at 29:44

Chaotic, dramatic, and heartbreaking. That’s what this match is. Edge and Balor have a fun brawl before the drama of the Judgment Day and Edge & Co. unfolds. From the father son controversy, to Edge’s own wife being nearly paralyzed. THIS is exactly what it should’ve been and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Absolutely can’t wait for what’s next. ***3/4

Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins vs Matt Riddle | Fight Pit Match

Matt Riddle def. Seth Rollins via Submission at 16:36

The finish was very anti-climactic, but I think the match is pretty decent overall as again event. Definitely could’ve been better, but I certainly enjoyed it. ***

Well folks that’s a wrap on Extreme rules…was it a fun 3 hours? I’m not su- wait a minute

BRAY WYATT IS HERE!!!! HOLY SH#T!!!

Overall Thoughts: Well it wasn’t perfect, but this was a solid show with some pretty good matches sprinkled through…and some terrible awfulness endured like a rotten cherry on top of a decent cake. But then there’s the ice cream on the side that’s always the best part, that being Bray Wyatt’s amazing return. Did I just use cake to describe this show? You’re damn right. 6/10
